چکیده

Fast, eecient, and reliable algorithms for up-and downdating discrete least-squares approximations of a real-valued function given at arbitrary distinct nodes in 0; 2) by trigonometric polynomials are presented. A combination of the up-and downdating algorithms yields a sliding window scheme. The algorithms are based on schemes for the solution of (inverse) unitary eigenproblems and require only O(mn) arithmetic operations as compared to O(mn 2) operations needed for algorithms that ignore the structure of the problem. Numerical examples are presented that show that the proposed algorithms produce consistently accurate results that are often better than those obtained by general QR decomposition methods for the least-squares problem.

A novel variable-length sliding window blockwise least-squares algorithm for on-line estimation of time-varying parameters

Motivated by the advances in computer technology and the fact that the batch/block least-squares (LS) produces more accurate parameter estimates than its recursive counterparts, several important issues associated with the block LS have been re-examined in the framework of on-line identification of systems with abrupt/gradual change parameters in this paper. It is no surprise that the standard ...

On the stability and convergence of a sliding-window variable-regularization recursive-least-squares algorithm

A sliding-window variable-regularization recursive-least-squares algorithm is derived, and its convergence properties, computational complexity, and numerical stability are analyzed. The algorithm operates on a finite data window and allows for time-varying regularization in the weighting and the difference between estimates. Numerical examples are provided to compare the performance of this te...

FDiBC: A Novel Fraud Detection Method in Bank Club based on Sliding Time and Scores Window

One of the recent strategies for increasing the customer’s loyalty in banking industry is the use of customers’ club system. In this system, customers receive scores on the basis of financial and club activities they are performing, and due to the achieved points, they get credits from the bank. In addition, by the advent of new technologies, fraud is growing in banking domain as well. Therefor...

A Sliding Window Filter for SLAM

This note describes a Sliding Window Filter that is an on-line constanttime approximation to the feature-based 6-degree-of-freedom full Batch Least Squares Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) problem. We contend that for SLAM to be useful in large environments and over extensive run-times, its computational time complexity must be constant, and its memory requirements should be at most...
